It is a medieval recipe and the taste changes a lot depending on the cheese you choose, so there are no exact quantities for the ingredients, and the dish may be considered a main one or a sweet (I think it was probably a dessert, though).

## Ingredients

- 2 slice cheese. Use a cheese that is mid-aged, not too savoury and not too delicate.

||||
- sugar
|
||||
- cinnamon
|
||||
- butter or lard
|
||||
|
||||
## Directions

||||
|
||||
1. Place the cheese in a pan with frying butter or lard.
|
||||
1. Immediately sprinkle sugar and cinnamon all over it.
|
||||
1. As soon as it softens, remove it from the pan.
|
||||
1. Serve warm.
