+# Chewy Condensed Milk Brownies
+
+- ⏲️ Prep time: 10 min
+- 🍳Cook time: 30-40 min
+- 🍽️ Servings: 4
+
+## Ingredients
+
+- 125g (1/2 cup) butter
+- 50g (1/2 cup) cocoa powder
+- 1 can condensed milk (400g)
+- 120g (1 cup) powdered sugar
+- 2 teaspoons vanilla (optional)
+- 2 teaspoons molasses (optional)
+- 1 egg yolk
+- 90g (3/4 cup) flour
+- fillings (nuts, chilled chocolate chips) (optional)
+
+## Directions
+
+1. preheat oven to 160°C (320°F)
+2. brown the butter in a pot, **stirring and scraping frequently**
+3. whisk in the cocoa powder and boil for a minute
+4. take off the heat and whisk in remaining ingredients until smooth
+5. bake in pan lined with parchment sling for 30-40min, until a toothpick
+   emerges almost clean (personal preference -- less time: fudgier, more time:
+   chewier)
+6. let cool completely before lifting out of the pan and cutting
+
