# Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
An unfortunately uncommon style of cookie that is absolutely delicious.
## Ingredients
- 1 ½ c flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c shortening
- 3/4 c white sugar
- 3/4 c brown sugar
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 tsp hot water
- ½-1 c chopped nuts
- 1 pkg chocolate chips
- 2 c oatmeal
- 1 tsp vanilla
## Directions
Cream fat + sugars. Add eggs + water + vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Add chips + oatmeal. Bake at 350° for 10 min.
