+Ayran, also known as doogh, is a yogurt-based drink popular in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It is usually consumed as part of the breakfast during the summer.

+## Ingredients

+- 1 part yogurt (2 parts if you prefer a creamier variety)
+- 1 part ice-cold water
+- salt
+- mint (optional)
+- basil (optional)
+
+## Directions
+
+1. Combine the yogurt and the ice-cold water.
+2. Mix well until no clumps remain.
+3. Add salt to taste.
+4. The traditional way to drink it is plain, but you can add some additional flavours with chopped mint or basil.
