# Pasta with tuna There are tons of variations, this is my grandmother's version. The tuna sauce is a lot more than necessary usually I use the reaming part in the next days or I put it in the freezer. - ⏲️ Prep time: 10 min - 🍳 Cook time: 15 min - 🍽️ Servings: 4 ## Ingredients - 400g short-cut pasta - 160g tuna can in olive oil - 500ml tomato passata - 1 or 2 garlic clove - half onion - white one (the cheapest one available) - olive oil ## Directions 1. [Cook the pasta](https://based.cooking/pasta.html) 2. While pasta is cooking cut the onion in half disks of 0.5cm~ 3. Cut the garlic clove in half and remove the center 4. In a small pot add some oil (less than a spoon), the onion and the garlic 5. Cook until is slightly cooked 6. Add the tuna and a glass of wine 7. Put the flame at this maximum until you can't smell alcohol anymore 8. In the same time break the tuna a part in small piece as possible 9.
