Granola
- ⏲️ Prep time: 10 min
- 🍳 Cook time: 40 min
- 🍽️ Servings: 5
Ingredients
- Whole Oats (3 cups)
- Olive Oil (1/2 cup)
- Maple Syrup (1/2 cup)
- Nuts: Almonds, Pumpkin Seeds, etc. (1 cup, optional)
- Dried Fruit: Appricots, Unsweatened Cranberries, dates, etc. (1 cup, optional)
- Spices: Cinamon, Ground Cloves, Salt (to taste, optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 315° F
- Combine and stir Oil, Maple Syrup and Spices in a large mixing bowl.
- Add Oats to bowl.
- Coarsely chop Nuts and add to bowl.
- Mix until aggregate is uniform.
- Cover two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Spread the mixure evenly on baking sheets, put in oven (once preheated).
- Wait 15 minutes, take out of oven, stir, put back in oven.
- Wait 15 minutes, take out of oven, stir, put back in oven.
- Wait 10 minutes, take out of oven, do not stir (helps form clumps), let it cool.
- Coarsely chop Dried Fruit and mix in.
- Store in sealed container.
- Serve with yogurt, milk, fresh fruit, etc.
