290385f374 arm64: zynqmp: Remove overlays and add new dtb entries for ZynqMP
Remove device tree overlay (DTBO) entries for the ZynqMP target

10de9b5a6a kbuild: cherry-pick kbuild fdtoverlay changes from linux
Linux commits:
15d16d6dadf6 kbuild: Add generic rule to apply fdtoverlay
44f87191d105 kbuild: parameterize the .o part of suffix-search

The Linux commit 15d16d6dadf6 adds a generic rule in Makefile.lib
to automatically apply fdtoverlay, so that each platform doesn't
need to include a complex rule. This also automatically appends
DTC_FLAGS_foo_base += -@ to all base files

The platform's Makefile only needs to have this now:

foo-dtbs := foo_base.dtb foo_overlay1.dtbo foo_overlay2.dtbo
dtb-y := foo.dtb

effe934e50 imx6q-lxr: Add board support
Add support for the Comvetia i.MX6Q LXR2 board, which is
uses the Phytec PFLA02 SoM.

Based on the original work from Stefano Babic <sbabic@denx.de>.

The Phytec PFLA02 devicetrees are taken from kernel 6.11-rc7.

The imx6q-lxr.dts has been submitted upstream:

https://lore.kernel.org/linux-devicetree/20240913200906.1753458-3-festevam@gmail.com/

After it gets accepted in mainline (most likely in kernel 6.13),
the lxr2 board can then be switched to OF_UPSTREAM and these device trees
can be removed from U-Boot.

895d051702 sunxi: h616: add Tanix TX1 support
The Tanix TX1 is a tiny TV box, featuring the Allwinner H313 SoC with up
to 2GB of DRAM and 16GB of eMMC. There is no SD card or Ethernet port on

ddc869ebe9 ARM: imx: Update Fast ethernet PHY MDIO addresses to match DH i.MX8MP DHCOM rev.200
The production DH i.MX8MP DHCOM SoM rev.200 uses updated PHY MDIO addresses
for the Fast ethernet PHYs. Update the base SoM DT and SoM rev.100 backward
compatibility DTO to cater for this change.

Since the MDIO address adjustment is now also in the rev.100 SoM DTO, not
only in the rev.100 PDK3 DTO, update Makefile accordingly as well, else the
DTC would complain about the DTO overriding the 'reg' property without also
updating the node unit-address, which is not doable without duplicating the
entire PHY node in the DTO, which leads to large amount of duplication with
no gain.

Hello there,

This series add the U-Boot support for our new platform of K3-SOC

memory map and thus the nodes are being reused from AM62P includes
instead of duplicating the definitions.

Some highlights of J722S SoC (in addition to AM62P SoC features) are:

- Two Cortex-R5F for Functional Safety or general-purpose usage and
two C7x floating point vector DSP with Matrix Multiply Accelerator
  for deep learning.

- Vision Processing Accelerator (VPAC) with image signal processor
and Depth and Motion Processing Accelerator (DMPAC).

- 7xUARTs, 3xSPI, 5xI2C, 2xUSB2, 2xCAN-FD, 3xMMC and SD, GPMC for
NAND/FPGA connection, OSPI memory controller, 5xMcASP for audio,
  4xCSI-RX for Camera, 1 PCIe Gen3 controller, USB3.0 eCAP/eQEP,

f087f7fd27 rockchip: px30/rk3326: migrate to OF_UPSTREAM
Migrate PX30/RK3326 boards that exists in Linux v6.8 to use OF_UPSTREAM.

firefly-px30 is not migrated to OF_UPSTREAM because there's no Device
Tree in the Linux kernel.

Differences between U-Boot's Odroid-Go2 and Linux's are now moved to the
-u-boot.dtsi, though I have a gut feeling that the existing cru
overrides aren't necessary (anymore?).

The U-Boot GPIO led-0 is on GPIO0_C1 but such is the pin of PWM3 which
is used for Linux's PWM led-2 so keep Linux's.

I also doubt vcc_cam is actually used, though the Odroid-Go2 Black
Edition uses this dcdc regulator for WiFi, so let's just move it to the
-u-boot.dtsi to play it safe.

bf3d5baa86 Merge patch series "k3-j721e: Enable OF_UPSTREAM for J721E"
Neha Malcom Francis <n-francis@ti.com> says:

This series was plucked out from the larger series [1] that did some
templating reformatting and also enabled OF_UPSTREAM for J721E. The
former has been kept aside till all the platforms affected have moved to
using OF_UPSTREAM to have less conflicts while merging.

Patches split J721E EVM and J721E SK to using separate builds, as well
as enable OF_UPSTREAM for both the platforms.

b1d2af984f Merge patch series "omap3: igep0x00: Fix boot failure and modernize the boards support"
Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@dowhile0.org> says:

Hello,

I noticed that the IGEPv2 board did not boot anymore with mainline U-Boot.
This was caused by a driver change to allocate its platform data before
relocation and U-Boot not having enough pre-relocation heap size for this.

This series fixes this issue and also makes the board support more modern,
by enabling DM for SPL and migrating the IGEP boards to use upstream DTBs.

c0c173d813 omap3: igep0x00: Migrate to use upstream DT
Enable OF_UPSTREAM to use upstream DT and add a ti/omap/ prefix to the
DEFAULT_DEVICE_TREE config option.

That way, a DTS from the upstream dts/upstream/src/ directory is used
instead of the arch/$(ARCH)/dts/ directory. These in turn are removed.

88c5d76d51 arm: exynos: Migrate E850-96 board to OF_UPSTREAM
Use upstream device tree files and bindings. To do so:
 - imply (enable) OF_UPSTREAM option for E850-96 target
 - point DEFAULT_DEVICE_TREE in E850-96 config to upstream dts
 - remove now not needed local dts files, binding docs and headers
 - update MAINTAINERS and board/samsung/e850-96/MAINTAINERS
   correspondingly

Upstream device tree files for Exynos850 SoC and E850-96 board are
pretty much the same as local (removed) ones, so the conversion is
rather straightforward and painless in this case. The appended dts file
(arch/arm/dts/exynos850-e850-96-u-boot.dtsi) stays unchanged.

The only remaining local dt-bindings doc for E850-96 board is
exynos-pmu.yaml. It wasn't removed as it's quite different from Linux
kernel version. Particularly U-Boot local version of exynos-pmu.yaml
describes "samsung,uart-debug-1" property, which is not present in Linux
kernel binding. Later it might be upstreamed to Linux kernel, and once
it's done the U-Boot exynos-pmu.yaml binding can be removed.

No functional change.
