mkimage can be used for both signing the FIT or encrypt its content and the
option '-k' can be used to pass a directory where both signing and encryption
keys can be retrieved. Adding 'fit,encrypt' property to the 'fit' node, leads to

34d4a5df1b binman: fit: Allow running fdtgrep on devicetree blobs
When using FIT to load firmware builds for multiple models, the FIT must
include a common binary along with a number of devicetree blobs, one for
each model. This is the same mechanism as is used for loading an OS.

However, SPL builds do not normally use the full devicetree, but instead
a cut-down version which various nodes and properties removed.

Add a new fit,fdt-phase property to allow binman to produce these
devicetree blobs.

7081a94ea4 binman: Add support for alternative FDTs
FIT provides a way to select between different devicetree blobs
depending on the model. This works fine for U-Boot proper and allows SPL
to select the correct blob for the current board at runtime. The boot
sequence (SPL->U-Boot proper) is therefore covered by the existing
feature set.

The first boot phase (typically TPL) cannot use FIT since SoC boot ROMs
don't currently support it. Therefore the TPL image must be specific to
each model it boots on.

To support booting on mulitple models, binman must therefore produce a
separate TPL image for each model, even if the images for the rest of
the phases are identical.

TPL needs to be packaged as an executable binary along with a reduced
devicetree. When multiple models are supported, a reduced devicetree
must be provided for each model.

U-Boot's build system is designed to build a single devicetree for SPL
builds, so does not support this requirement.

Add a new 'alternatives' feature to Binman, allowing it to automatically
subset a devicetree to produce the reduced devicetree for a particular
phase for each supported model. With this it is possible to produce a
separate TPL image for each of the models. The correct one can then be
loaded onto a board, along with the common FIT image(s).

23d2ef91ef binman: etype: dm: Add entry type for TI DM
K3 devices introduces the concept of centralized power, resource and
security management to System Firmware. This is to overcome challenges
by the traditional approach that implements system control functions on
each of the processing units.

The software interface for System Firmware is split into TIFS and DM. DM
(Device Manager) is responsible for resource and power management from
secure and non-secure hosts. This additional binary is necessary for
specific platforms' ROM boot images and is to be packaged into tispl.bin

Add an entry for DM. The entry can be used for the packaging of
tispl.bin by binman along with ATF and TEE.

7fcfa9d930 binman: etype: Add xilinx-bootgen etype
This adds a new etype 'xilinx-bootgen'. By using this etype it is
possible to created an signed SPL (FSBL in Xilinx terms) for
ZynqMP boards.

The etype uses Xilinx Bootgen tools in order to transform the SPL into
a bootable image and sign the image with a given primary and secondary
public key. For more information to signing the FSBL please refer to the
Xilinx Bootgen documentation.

Here is an example of the etype in use:

    spl {
        filename = "boot.signed.bin";

        xilinx-bootgen {
            pmufw-filename = "pmu-firmware.elf";
            psk-key-name-hint = "psk0";
            ssk-key-name-hint = "ssk0";
            auth-params = "ppk_select=0", "spk_id=0x00000000";

            u-boot-spl-nodtb {
            };
            u-boot-spl-dtb {
            };
        };
    };

For this to work the hash of the primary public key has to be fused
into the ZynqMP device and authentication (RSA_EN) has to be set.

For testing purposes: if ppk hash check should be skipped one can add
the property 'fsbl_config = "bh_auth_enable";' to the etype. However,
this should only be used for testing(!).

This adds a new etype 'u-boot-spl-pubkey-dtb'. The etype adds the public
key from a certificate to the dtb. This creates a '/signature' node which
is turn contains the fields which make up the public key. Usually this
is done by 'mkimage -K'. However, 'binman sign' does not add the public
key to the SPL. This is why the pubkey is added using this etype.

40c8bdd87e binman: Support splitting an ELF file into multiple nodes
Some boards need to load an ELF file using the 'loadables' property, but
the file has segments at different memory addresses. This means that it
cannot be supplied as a flat binary.

Allow generating a separate node in the FIT for each segment in the ELF,
with a different load address for each.

Also add checks that the fit,xxx directives are valid.

6a0b5f8b9c binman: Allow different operations in FIT generator nodes
At present we only support expanding out FDT nodes. Make the operation
into an @operation property, so that others can be supported.

Re-arrange and tidy up the documentation so that it has separate
headings for each topic.
