+## Ingredients
+
+- 6 cups apple cider
+- 1/3 cup of real maple syrup
+- 2 cinnamon sticks
+- 4 whole cloves
+- 1 orange peel cut into strips (optional)
+- 1 lemon peel cut into strips (optional)
+
+## Directions
+
+1. Pour cider and syrup into a saucepan
+2. Wrap cinnamon sticks, cloves, and peels in a cheesecloth and tie it all up with a string
+3. Place saucepan over heat until cider is hot but not boiling
+4. Remove cider from heat, discard spices, and serve hot
